As a photographer, I am constantly thinking of new ways to create art. Everywhere I go I am always studying light. It completely consumes my thinking, and I love it! I love using natural light . Every photo shoot is unique and I like to bring that uniqueness out every time. I want you to see how I see you! Moments pass by so quickly and cannot be replaced. Not only do I enjoy shooting as a photojournalist, I also love the look of a classic portrait. I feel a mix of traditional and non-traditional is the best way for me to capture a wedding. I want to work with people who hire me as an artist, who appreciate and trust my perspective.

It is extremely important to me that you to like my work for a couple of reasons. These pictures will be with you the rest of your life. My pictures and my style needs to reflect your wants and needs for your wedding day. Wedding pictures are so import to be able to remember your wedding. Its incredibility important that the work and my style fit your wants and needs. I have been photographing weddings since 2009. I love my job, and I am blessed to have my job.

John is amazing! He is patient, has great ideas and really captured the special moments at our wedding. He focused on us and guests as individuals, meaning we didn't have 50 photos of people caught off guard or dancing with weird faces. He really captured moments that we clearly remember and everyone looked great. We have digital copies and printed albums that are beautiful and our favorite photos are printed on metallic sheets, decorating our home and have stood the test of time so far of almost 11 years without losing any clarity or color. We recommend JW Photography every chance we get, he is just that amazing!

I absolutely recommend JW Photography. We had engagement and wedding photos done. John is very personable and easy to communicate with. Through our whole experience, I felt like he listened to us and wanted to give us the best. Though one thing I think my husband and I needed was more coaching on how to stand or pose but I was overall impressed.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

I do not. It is just my self a single photographer.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. I will let you know if there is a longer time period due to the amount of weddings I have to edit in front of your wedding.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
