    Kate was such a delight to work with! My husband was pretty nervous about posing but we ended up having so much fun on our engagement shoot (which she recommended we do as a way of getting comfortable - but we also really loved the photos). And when it snowed pretty hard on our wedding day she encouraged us to roll with it and the pictures are just absolutely magical. Our apartment is pretty small but we’re having a really hard time narrowing down prints to what we can fit on our walls! And there are so many gems among the guest candids - the first two I sent to people got immediate “this is my favorite picture of me/us ever” responses. Not gonna lie, we are pretty relieved to never have to plan a wedding again - but if we were, we’d hire Kate.

    Kate Alison isn’t just a talented NYC photographer. She is so much more! Kate is a vibrant visual artist who clearly cares about her couples, their chemistry, their journey, and naturally makes them feel comfortable in front of the lens. This gift of hers, I think, allows her to capture these beautifully intimate, candid moments. Having worked with Kate on multiple weddings, it’s so refreshing to be in the presence of her chill energy on what can typically be a hectic day. She’s professional and warm, making sure to document those unforgettable love-filled moments. You’d be so lucky to work with Kate Alison! She’s AMAZING!
