This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements, to hiking engagements, to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York and California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, and candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few awesomely unique shots on top of it all.

Adventure travel, hiking, eating street food in foreign cities, and scuba diving are activities that describe me well. I'd take an adventure outside over a gym any day. When I'm not photographing (my full-time job) or traveling, I'm likely cooking, eating, or camping. Whether you’re a fellow outdoors-lover or something else entirely, I’ll take the time to get to know your unique interests and personalities, and will create tailored, scroll-stopping images with my innovative techniques. In essence, I'm a creative wedding photographer who has a penchant for the nontraditional. If you want a mix of traditional and unconventional photos, I'm it!

    Simply put, Kathryn was amazing. The pictures came out beyond magical. Prior to our wedding, she was so communicative and made sure to answer any questions we had. She took the time to understand expectations and made sure we were on the same page. She is on top of details and played a big role in making sure our day ran smoothly! Part of our memories of our day was simply how fun it was to work with her and Antoine. Both of them are just soo personable that we were sad our day ended because it means we won’t see them again. We could not be more pleased with the results. Kathryn delivered a huge collection of stunning photos. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Kathryn to all couples looking for a photographer.     Kathryn was so great to work with! I am overly easy-going and did not have a clear idea of what I wanted for photos for my engagement and wedding, but once I saw Kathryn's photos from other events I was sure I wanted her! Her photos show so much personality and are so vibrant, she gave me a sneak peak of the wedding photos just days after the wedding and it got me so excited to see the rest and made me 100% sure I chose the right photographer for my 'big day'. She came up to Humboldt County, CA for our engagement shoot and we did an adventure style session, we hiked all around the College Cove forest and beach and she had both my husband and I feeling very comfortable in front of the camera (neither of us usually would be). The photos came out so beautifully and there are so many to chose from and love. Her assistant was also great! My wedding was pretty un-organized but everything came together so perfectly at the end. She was very understanding when my payment had to come in small portions as well because my Zelle app wasn't working properly. Pretty much all I told her was that I wanted 90% candid in the moment photos and just a few family portraits on top of our couple portraits. I was very grateful that all I had to do was give her a few sentences of what I knew I wanted and she gave her all to give me what I wanted and more! I would 100% chose her over and over again to photograph our events!
