I want to cover your day in a way that highlights the joy and sincerity that surrounds you and the people you love. Some emotions are unbridled, but most are nuanced and fleeting. When you look back at your set of images, I want you to be transported back to that day and to have those feelings rekindled. My role is to be an observer and a listener. The less time I spend interrupting, the more time I can spend watching, waiting, and capturing the moments that should be remembered. If I’m there to record it, it’ll be without printed pages from other photographers you’d like to see imitated. I'll be there as me – and I’ll be capturing you.

    Katie is so fantastic! She is communicative, easy to work with, and takes the most FABULOUS photos! My sister has special needs and getting good photos of and with her for my wedding was one of the most important things to me- and we have the most amazing photos! She captured every moment and emotion and I could not recommend her more!!

    My search for a wedding photographer was pretty much a full time job. In fact, it was harder finding a wedding photographer than it was finding a man I wanted to marry. After spending hours and hours searching for the perfect wedding photographer, a google search found me Katie and I knew I had to work with her. From day 1 she was so easy to work with and was willing to work with me on my budget. I was extremely particular when it came to my photos and from the engagement photos to the wedding photos, she really hit it out of the park without me having to describe every little thing. The photos invoked the emotion/feeling I wanted from them and I particularly was wowed by her black and white photos. She clearly knows what she's doing and was able to work efficiently and work around a ton of sudden changes. I was a bundle of nerves on my wedding day and really valued her calm, peaceful demeanor. She truly has an extraordinary style and eye for photography and she's my #1 recommendation for brides looking for timeless wedding photos that transcend what's trending today. We've since worked with her for family photos and she wowed us once again. Honestly I'd have her photograph every momentous occasion of my life if I could. If you go through her portfolio you'll see all different styles of weddings but each photo is stunning. God forbid if I ever have another wedding, partnering with Katie is a no-brainer.
