Hey, I’m Elizabeth “Libby” Haydin (yes my middle name is Sue) wife, mother, photographer, and puppy cuddler, and a lot more. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I'd travel anywhere to capture a beautiful story. In 2016 I graduated with a degree in photography. At the time I was a 20 year old stay at home mom. I photographed my first wedding while planning my own and developed a passion for capturing love stories.

Specializing in weddings and portrait photography, I found what I love. When I'm not behind a camera, you can find me most days hanging out at home, either chasing my toddler or our Goldendoodle Sully. If you asked 13 year old Libby where she would be in 10 years, she would say she’d be the next Taylor Swift. What I actually do is so much cooler and I'm so happy to have you on this journey with me.

    The only thing I would change about our wedding, was choosing Libby as our photographer. I should've known when our engagement pictures turned out horrible. She has no idea how to photograph a plus size woman, and the angles were so unflattering. She did offer to redo it, but I really don't know what would've changed. Our wedding photos were even worse. Wedding party photos were so insanely over edited. My dress was ivory and it looked stark white. We paid for 2 photographers, and even with the two, so many important moments were missed. For example, we had a first look and out of two photographers, neither one got a photo of my husband's initial reaction. We have him facing away from me and then us hugging. Plus we received no photos of the bridal party being introduced at the reception. We had a friend of ours who had never shot video for a wedding before and it was only him, and he got all those moments, so not really sure what her excuse was. I also get to see all the super cute and clever photos other people post and I just have to laugh, because we did not get anything like that. My last issue was on her website, it stated we got a sneak peak, but then after the wedding, she said she doesn't offer that and it was just a typo. I don't think I would've hired her if she didn't do sneak peaks, because waiting weeks to see the photos only to be let down by the lack of quality was hard! Overall, considering Libby is roughly the same cost as many other photographers out there, I would do yourself a favor and pick someone else. Unless you want a bunch of photos you get to spend the rest of your life regretting.

    We love working with Libby Haydin. We’ve done many photo sessions with her. Our favorite thing about working with her is that, not only does she bring her own creative ideas, but she is open to suggestions on poses, etc that we might want to try. She loves what she does, and she wants to help you capture your memories that you can look back on for years to come.
