I'm Matt Garcia, and thank you for checking out MGPHOTOTX. I would be honored to capture your special day in an emotive and timeless style that portrays you in a natural and personal way. Ive been shooting weddings for over 10 years, discovering photography as a teenager capturing friends, family and my various travels. I shoot primarily in the Austin/San Antonio metroplex, but I am available to travel all over Texas and beyond. My aim is to be a fly on the wall. The best photos come when you both are acting in as natural a way as possible. I don't want to intrude into your psyche and distract you from enjoying your wedding day, so I like to assure my clients to trust my process and pay little attention to me so you have one less thing to worry about. There will obviously be times to set up shots and communicate closely, but I'm very easy-going and I like to work in a stress-free manner so the day will be enjoyable for us all.

    How can you ask anyone to capture the most important day of your life? So much on the line and so much trust to bestow on someone, but Matt won us over with his previous work and we decided he was the photographer we needed. We hired him to do what he does best and has done time and time again. When we received an email from him after our wedding, we were completely floored with the shots he sent us. Matt took the time to talk with us throughout the time that we were actively planning out our wedding and showed up early on our wedding day to catch the most minute details that in hindsight are so important. Keeping time of golden hour and directing every shot with my wife and I, down to chasing the sunlight with us in tow for all the perfect photos as the light left the evening. And catching all the action shots as the party started with our family. We had no worry in our minds. Karla and I are in awe of the memories that Matt stepped into with his lens to immortalize forever. Cannot recommend his work more. Five stars por vida!
