We’re Matt and Anna Bye. We are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and specialize in wedding and family photography. Photography is, by our estimation, one of the best ways to artfully capture the true essence and beauty of the individuals and couples we meet. It is our passion and driving purpose to serve our clients through photography. We were married in our sweet Minneapolis in the fall of 2017.

With us, you'll know exactly who will shoot your wedding! No second shooters here! We will both be there to photograph your day. After a combined 14 years of experience, it's hard to create a problem we haven't solved on a wedding day! We come prepared to make your wedding day as smooth as possible. Aesthetically, you will walk away with a gallery of both digital and film images, lending a modern, fine art feeling. While giving you the editorial vibe, we still want your personalities to shine. That's why we've created our shooting style to embody "Fun, Fine Art."

    As a wedding planner and florist in the Twin Cities wedding industry, I have the opportunity to work with SO MANY photographers. That being said, Royal Hart Studio is always at the top of my list. Anna and Matt are so organized, professional, and FUN. Their editing style is timeless, which is one of my favorite things about them. You'll love looking back on your wedding photos for years and years to come!

    We are now friends with both Matt and Anna of Royal Hart because we hired them! They are clear about expectations and services from the beginning, while also incorporating creativity and spontaneity in whatever you hire them for. For example, we hired them for our wedding, and we got pictures with CONFETTI!! We saw their extensive work with other couples we knew, and knew that we loved their style as well as how personable they are. Do yourself a favor and work with them!!

    Anna and Matt are such a wonderful photography team to have on your wedding day! They not only capture all of the glorious moments alongside you, but the way they capture those moments on film just make your heart explode! Anna is your lighthearted bundle of joy and Matt is your down-to-earth best friend. The two of them work so hard to make sure you're well taken care of, from the planning process to editing and delivery! You'll love getting to know them just as much as your amazing photographs!
