With ten years of experience shooting weddings in and around New York City, Sandy brings her eye for storytelling to each event she shoots, searching for genuine emotion and candid moments that capture every couple in a timeless way. Published in Brides, New York Weddings and Brooklyn Bride, Sandy's work walks the line between fine art and documentary photography, allowing each day to unfold naturally and be remembered artfully for decades to come.

I love people. I love families and their stories, and telling the whole sprawling narrative of a day through timeless, spontaneous images that capture emotions and moments that you might miss. I am honored to get to know people and act as a witness to their love, and I love to document your best selves on your happiest days. My goal is to be a calm force that helps you move through the day seamlessly so you can relax and enjoy as much of it as possible while still getting the images that capture the atmosphere and energy of the day: memories made visible that you'll be able to keep forever.

    We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photography experience! Sandy was so authentic and lovely from when we first met and made us (two spot-light avoidant introverts) feel so comfortable and special during our wedding day. To boot, the pictures we received were gorgeous and captured the spirit of our day beautifully. Cannot say enough good things :)

    My husband and I had a very specific vision for our wedding and Sandy captured the day perfectly. From the first phone call, Sandy was easy to work with, genuinely wanted to get to know us and understand our relationship. She was receptive to our feedback on what style photography we wanted, which was very important to us. A week prior to the wedding, she met us to scout the locations in and around our venue so we could come up with a timeline and plan. This helped so much with coordination and allowed us to be stress-free on the big day. Her photos don't feel forced or cheesy, instead she has the ability to capture the essence of the moment. We greatly appreciated her foresight knowing when and how many extra shooters to bring in, being mindful of our budget along the way. When we got our photo gallery back we were shocked at how many images she provided. We are truly able to relive our wedding day and are so grateful to Sandy for her support and professionalism throughout the process.

    I was so lucky when I found Sandy as my wedding photographer. If you are looking for an easy going, fabulous, artistic photographer that shows the life behind photos, booking Sandy is a no brainer. She was SO easy to work with, went above and beyond to make our day special (and shot our engagement photos) and really listened to what we were hoping for.
