Hi, I'm Sarah- I'm a laid-back, experienced documentary wedding photographer who loves capturing the unique feel of every couple who I work with. My husband Jeff works alongside me for most weddings and together we merge our different perspectives to create heirloom quality, light-driven, and fun images for you to relive your wedding day.

I'm a second-generation wedding photographer who learned the trade from my parents who owned and operated their own wedding photography studio for 30 years. Jeff and I are both trained photojournalists who met while attending photo school at the acclaimed Rochester Institute of Technology. We've been running Two Of Us Photography for seven years, and in that time have photographed over a hundred out-of-the-box weddings.

    I don’t know where to start with why I love Sarah so much - should I begin with her incredible eye for light? Her wonderfully disarming nature that coaxes authentic joy out of even the most camera-shy couple? Maybe I should mention the efficiency and speed with which she delivers photos, explains payment, and plans her work? I can’t talk enough about her unbelievably creative approach to photography - she is amazing at finding stunning spaces, setting couples in truly unique surroundings (like an ice skating trail, or riding a draft horse in the snow!), and capturing intimate moments that really reflect who you are together. Despite the obvious wrench that COVID threw into our 2020 wedding, Sarah was amazing at accommodating every change in our plans and working out a COVID-safe approach for the micro-wedding we ended up with. Looking back at the amazing photos (which she sent over to us promptly), she captured all the tremendous love we felt and let us move on from the stress of planning. Every photo she shared has the lighting and composition of a Renaissance painting, and we will treasure these images for the rest of our lives. We cannot wait to have her photograph our larger reception down the road, as well as any other photographic needs we may have - and honestly we just love spending time with her, her incredibly cool husband Jeff, and their adorable daughter. Highest recommendation. One million stars out of ten.

    Sarah was hands down the best person to work with during our wedding planning. Her calm and professional manner was key to us being able to relax and enjoy our wedding day. Before I even met my husband, I had made note of Two of Us Photography as the folks I wanted to shoot my wedding. Not only are the images from our day STUNNING, Sarah and Jeff have become dear friends and we have hired them again since then. You can't go wrong with Two of Us Photography. They are the best people who take the best photos.
