Hi! I'm Jill Smith, owner, creative, wife and mother. I have been in the Washington, D.C. metro area for 38 years as a financial professional (28 years), and after retiring early, began planning events, completed my certification in wedding planning, Floristry and Design. I love it!! Jill Smith Events and Designs has a team of professional individuals skilled in planning, florals, and designs. We produce events at a variety of venues in the DC/VA/MD area. We partner with couples in the area, and often areas beyond. Our goal is to ensure a seamless, memorable event that lasts a lifetime!

I bring a unique combination of business ethics and professionalism with wedding planning, floral and design experience, which allows me to approach events with creative and effective strategies. My dedication to listening to my clients sets me apart. I also strive to learn something new each day!

Full Planning Services are perfect for the couple looking for guidance and support with every aspect of wedding planning. We can assist you with venue visits, catering, pastry tastings, and more.

We will help tell your love story petal by petal incorporating colors, textures, greenery, symmetry and romance. We offer unique designs and styles to tell your story. If you are someone who enjoys doing things yourself, we also offer rentals of floral vessels, centerpieces, vintage bottles, trending pieces, and more. We also offer seating and table name services. We can deliver as well!

Perfect for the couple looking for support and guidance with time management, organization, contract management and design. This is great for couples who want to be very active in the process, but need some support along the way.
