I'm Claire. I opened WedWell in 2014 after I had a terrible experience with the planner for my wedding (which is why I aim for a low stress, high fun planning environment). With over a decade of experience in events, it was time that I started helping couples through the wedding planning process. I love all things weddings: the couples, the venues, the uniqueness, the love, the families, the vows, the toasts, the dancing, the photo booths, the cake (well, any dessert really). I love working with all couples because I truly believe love is love. So let's get started!

Before WedWell...I went to Villanova University (Go Nova!) and received a degree in Psychology. Then I attended New York University, where I received my Master's degree in Counseling - which comes in handy during wedding planning! Beyond that, I feel like I have a unique attitude toward planning. I want to be highly organized - down to the tiniest detail - but then I carry a laid back demeanor into the day so everyone can simply enjoy themselves - vendors, couples, and guests!

Description

With full service planning, we help with the whole planning process from venue selection to when the last guest leaves at the end of your wedding - and everything in between.

We consider partial planning "bookends" or "everything but the venue" full service planning. For some, we help find the venue and provide month-of coordination. For others, we help find the vendors and keep the couple on track through the end of the wedding day. We meet regularly and you'll get regular email support.

You can hire us for a "check-in consulting" session starting at $160 - a one-time two hour conversation about your wedding. Or you can pick and choose the planning support you need and we'll put together a custom proposal. This is a very "choose your own adventure" option.

With "day-of" coordination, you'll get basic email support from the date of hire. Then, full service coordination kicks in about eight-weeks out from your wedding day, which includes two consulting sessions, timeline creation/management, final confirmations, and day-of setup and coordination.

    Claire was by far the easiest, calmest, and most organized planner around. She made the wedding planning process feel easy & affordable for a couple who wasn’t from NYC. Her recommendations were perfect for what we wanted and her spreadsheets to help us compare/decide were above and beyond. She was honest with her opinions and helped us stay within a very tight budget for the city - which no other planner felt was possible or was even willing to work with us for. Claire followed up the month of our wedding with all the vendors and made sure nothing was missing & the timing was perfect. Every single detail I would have never even thought of was mapped out and answered by the time of the rehearsal, so the week of our wedding was nothing but fun and celebrations. Claire was professional, but personable, and was very easy to talk to. She even dealt with my night shift schedule (emailing her constantly in the middle of the night) and handled everything during the day (business hours) so I didn’t have to worry about it. After the wedding was over, she helped us find some ceremonial items that were misplaced & even helped us dig through contracts to get money back when we were wrongfully charged by another vendor! Always went an extra mile for us. I have recommended WedWell to any and all of my friends/coworkers who are recently engaged. I can’t recommend her enough!!

    Claire is incredible! She is extremely organized and knowledgeable. She helped us make decisions throughout the planning process using her years of experience and expertise. We felt so prepared and were able to completely enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything! Everything on the day of the wedding ran perfectly. Claire was also helpful when the weather forecast turned to rain the week of the wedding, calming me down and helping me accept things we can't control. We couldn't recommend Claire more!

    If you're looking/need to hire a planner to coordinate your wedding day or weekend, look no further than WedWell (aka Claire). Claire will make sure that your wedding day proceeds seamlessly, no matter the weather and regardless of the upredictable challenges that inevitably arise. We initially interviewed Claire because of her excellent reviews from diverse couples across multiple wedding platforms. It quickly became clear that she had earned these positive reviews, and we were pleased to bring her onto our vendor team. Indeed, hiring Clarie was one of our best wedding decisions. She is responsive, organized, and personable. To that end, she quickly connected with a team of vendors, most of whom she had not worked with before, and responded to our emails in 36 hours, no matter the day of the week. Also, her vendor recommendations were very strong (our photographer and DJ were next level). In the days leading up to the wedding, Claire took over all of the logistics, and handled pretty much every communication with the venue and our various vendors--we barely had to do a thing. More importantly, once the big weekend had actually arrived, everything was easy. It rained much of our wedding day, but Claire helped us adjust our schedule on the fly to take advantage of the good weather for pictures. We even had somebody come to the wedding who we did not invite--and we did not hear a thing about it until after the ceremony, when the guest introduced herself to us. Claire had adjusted the seating and escorted the guest to the appropriate table. In sum, planning a wedding is an endeavor and we feel lucky we had Claire to make it the best party it could be.
