Freight is situated in the shadow of Mt. Elbert, Colorado’s highest fourteener. A passenger train still puffs by the window every afternoon. The gorgeous, fully restored depot holds over 200 people, making it a perfect event venue, conference center, or wedding venue in Leadville, Colorado. Along with the barn-like depot, the property includes an elegant courtyard, retrofitted whisky lime lounge in a historic shed, and conference room for workshops and intimate family gatherings.

    We held our wedding ceremony at Freight at the end of September 2023. We worked with Carrie who went above and beyond our expectations. Our friends and family loved it all. Freight will always hold a special place in our hearts, and I find myself looking for another reason to host an event there in the future. The floors, the furniture, the options - all so perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more.
