About this venue

Our charming venue has a beautiful and unique love story of it's own. Originally designed as a fully functioning horse stables, the venue was built in 2000 as an equine boarding and training facility, and sits on a 168 acre family farm. Highland Stables transitioned to a full time event venue in September 2014. It is our mission to carry on the tradition of embracing life-long love and continue the celebration of other amazing couples and families. Just 10 minutes from downtown Bowling Green, Highland Stables offers the charm of a secluded family farm in an ideal central location between Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky. With numerous ceremony and reception spaces to choose from, your day is exclusively yours. At Highland Stables, you will never feel like a "package" or a "booking". Our couples become our friends and our family. We understand the importance of a wedding day and would be honored to host your big day.

With cobblestone paved floors lending a timeless appeal, and two all-glass garage doors framing the space with natural light, every corner exudes warmth and sophistication. A small outdoor open chapel, complete with a concrete pad and benches, provides an intimate setting for exchanging vows under the open sky. Meanwhile, a cozy patio featuring a crackling fire pit invites guests to mingle and unwind amidst the serene ambiance. We pride ourselves on offering spacious, handicap-accessible indoor restrooms, ensuring comfort and convenience for all attendees.
