About this venue

In 1994, Just Dance Ballroom began its operation near Downtown Oakland with the vision to spread the love of dance to many and all. Over the decade, the Just Dance Ballroom family grew bigger, and thus, the dream to relocate to a grand space came to fruition on September 16, 2006. Since then, Just Dance Ballroom has shared its halls with dancers, entertainers, family, and friends from all around the world. With 26 years (and counting) of experience under its belt, Just Dance Ballroom is proud to be considered by many to be the destination for dance and entertainment in the Bay Area.

Grand Ballroom

The Bay Area’s Premier Dance and Event Center

With 5000 square feet, the Grand Ballroom lives up to its name, bathing in natural light by day and dazzling party-goers with disco lights by night. It boasts a 42x72 floating Maple-wood competition sized ballroom dance floor. This is one of the finest facilities in the entire Bay Area. A sophisticated and highly technical surround sound system with a computerized DJ console, plus lighting for all kinds of showcases and special events. In addition, there is a large marquee for presentations or live video capability. The Grand Ballroom has a capacity of 350 people.
