Keeping with the spirit of Baltimore, the venue is decorated with Chesapeake Bay- and Pimlico-inspired artwork and commemorative collections. With more than 43 years of experience, The Mt. Washington Tavern is sure to guarantee a seamless event! The Mt. Washington Tavern boasts an abundance of flexible event space. Offering both indoor and Sky Bar settings, the venue comfortably hosts up to 175 of your nearest and dearest guests. Couples who choose the venue to celebrate their nuptials benefit from a wide array of services. In addition to setup and cleanup, we also offer event planning. The Mt. Washington Tavern is conveniently located in the historic Mt. Washington neighborhood of Baltimore. The venue is approximately five minutes from a number of popular attractions and landmarks, such as the Mt. Washington Arboretum and Asbury Park.

Pimlico Room

The Pimlico Room is a sophisticated party room with the Tavern's familiar vibe.

The décor speaks to Maryland's horse-racing heritage with one-of-a-kind photographs and memorabilia from Preakness and other local races. Wood beams drape the ceiling and a fireplace keeps the room warm and cozy. Located on the second floor of the Tavern, the Pimlico Room is easily accessible by a staircase or elevator and is adjacent to the connecting Sky Bar. The Pimlico Room may be configured to accommodate parties large or small, and is a perfect gathering spot for any celebration.

    We got married @ The Mount Washington Tavern on August 19, 2023, it was a magical night. We (groom and bride) had very little to do or think of. The Mount Washington Tavern staff made it so easy for us. From selecting the menu, guiding us through decoration, flowers, signs, cake, deserts, and so much more. They were amazing! Very flexible and accommodating. We only had to get a photographer, officiant, and DJ. No need for a wedding coordinator, they took care of that. Our friends and family who attended the wedding had only nice things to say… • "First wedding cake that was actually good. Who made it?" • "Crabcakes were great.” • "Flowers were outstanding, best ever!” • The aroma of beautiful flowers filling the room coupled with the great officiant were magical." • “Bride and Groom, you did an amazing job selecting everything it is perfect…" well we fessed up and gave credit where it was due - Mary & Holly @ The Mount Washington Tavern did it all… we were actually hands off. • “Friendly staff.” Why would anyone go through the work of selecting a venue, screening caterers/various vendors when they could go to The Mount Washington Tavern and have most of it under one roof? Highly recommend it for a stress-free, beautiful wedding!
