The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary at MUCC is perfect for weddings & other special ceremonies.

A gothic style sanctuary with soaring cathedral ceilings and beautiful stained glass in every direction. The Sanctuary is MUCC’s main space for worship, and perfect for weddings & other special ceremonies. The space boasts incredible acoustics for concerts of all types, and includes a Steinway grand and majestic pipe organ.

    MUCC Weddings and Events were amazing to work with. From the moment we first toured their space, to the evening of our client's celebration, they were so gracious and hospitable. The space was set exactly as they stated, everything was very clean, tidy and easy to find items we needed and the people we worked with were always nice, caring and very capable. They made the entire production smooth and without any added stress for our clients or us, as the planners. I would highly recommend the MUCC!!

    We were married at MUCC in August of last year and it was perfect! The church space itself is lovely and looks wonderful in our photos. The sanctuary is especially beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. They also had plenty of space in another area of the church so that we could host our reception there as well. This was really helpful since we had many out of town guests who are unfamiliar with driving in the Seattle area. Beyond that, pastor Marci was really wonderful and met with us before the ceremony to talk about what we wanted. We felt really fortunate to find her, but I believe you can also have your own officiant which is not something many churches allow you to do. We also used their pianist for the ceremony music and he did a fantastic job. Overall everything was very easy and convenient, allowing us to just focus on the day. They are also a wonderful church that contributes to the community, definitely appreciate these folks!
