About this venue

My Old Kentucky Barn is a new venue in an old tobacco barn. The 1800’s barn is situated on over 50 acres on Main Street in Williamstown, Kentucky. Our owner John grew up in Williamstown and, along with his brother Mike, spent a lot of time painting the white board fence and planting Canna bulbs in the spring. John is only the fourth owner of the property in 180 years. The Webb Family were the longest running owners. In fact, they donated land from the property to form Webb Park to the south. John and Edna Risen purchased the property in 1976 and sold it to John over 15 years ago. There is so much history here and we are excited that others can now enjoy the barn. Even though the outside of the barn looks new, all of the old detail is still there on the inside. We know that brides and grooms will make great memories here with their families. It will also be the perfect venue for milestone birthday parties, reunions and other memorable events.

Grand space with history and character.

This is the main entertainment space of the barn. Tobacco hung in this barn for over 100 years and the character has been left intact.

    My Old Kentucky Barn was wverything we anticipated it to be! The venue is very welcoming, decorated perfectly, accessible, just perfect. The owners/operators were very pleasant to work with and met all expectations. If there were any questions or concerns, they were always quick to respond and offer a solution. I would definitely recommend this My Old KY barn to any couple if they’re looking at it.

    The wedding was perfect for our wedding and reception. Our family and friends were welcomed by a beautiful wedding and venue. The staff was very helpful in set up and clean-up. The venue made our special day even more special! There was plenty of room for our approximately 125 guests, the caterer and the music DJ. We would highly recommend My Old Kentucky Barn for your special day.
