Is there a booking fee? When are the additional payments due? Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes. When the contract is signed, to continue holding the date, 50% of the venue rental fee is due. The final installment will be required 180 days prior to the event. You are welcome to send smaller, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due date, so in effect creating your own payment plan on your own schedule. Full payment is due by the specified due date. We also require a $1,000.00 damage deposit due 30 days prior to the event (the damage deposit will be refunded if no damages are incurred).

All booking fees are non-refundable. Our policies are stated in the contract.

We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only.

Do we have to utilize your caterers?

No, we have Preferred Caterers that we work with. We love their work so much and think that you will too! Our caterers are Chef Paco, Carriage House Catering, Talk of the Town, Tam’s Backstage, Proof of the Pudding, Zest Atlanta and Cherry Street Brewing.

Do we have to use your planners and coordinators?

No, we have 3 Preferred Planning services that we work with. We have hand selected each of them based on the outstanding work they do for their clients! They will help with all of the details for your big day, creating less stress for you and loved ones. Our planners are Arrowed Beginnings, Borrowed and Blue, and Weddings by Epic. They also offer additional services outside of planning such as florals, event design, photography, and more.

Will there be another wedding the same day?

At Swan Lake Overlook, we only host one wedding each day to ensure that each couple's event is special and receives our full attention.

Are there on-site accommodations?

Yes. We have on-site lodging, are handicap accessible, and our staff will be available during your wedding for any immediate needs.

Where do the guest park?

Our parking lot is located next to the venue with a parking attendant to guide guests.

Do you offer straight tables instead of round?

Accepted Answer

We have a limited number of straight tables onsite that can be used for your gift table, head table, etc. Usually we have a few extras that can be mixed in with reception seating, but the majority of your guests will be seated at 60” round tables.

Do you provide table linens, cups, silverware, etc.?

No. Swan Lake Overlook provides an awesome venue, tables, and elegant wedding chairs. Check with our Exclusive Caterers and Planners for linen options.

Question 12

What happens in case of rain?

Accepted Answer

The ceremony would be indoors and we would flip the room or your guests can be seated at their table. You are also welcome to rent a tent ahead of time for the court yard.
