About this venue

The Banyan Estate is the premier, historic event venue in Brevard County, Florida. Today, you can still see the beauty and grace of the property starting with the classical architecture and continuing with the spacious grounds. Not the least of which is the magnificent Banyan Tree that has flourished on the back lawn and inspired the naming of The Banyan Estate. Built as the area’s first county school in 1927, the Historic Malabar Schoolhouse has been used for many purposes over the years and the owners continue to meet local residents who know and love the property and add to its unique vintage character. The owners of The Banyan Estate have always had a love for historic architecture and vintage elements. As you step onto the Banyan Estate, each room and outdoor space shows you its own personality and elegance providing a perfect backdrop to add your style and creativity to your special event. We look forward to the chapter you create in The Banyan Estate story.

One of the easiest venues to work with. The Venue Manager is willing to work with all vendors to make the day easier for the couple. We have been vendors at Banyan since 2017 and we truly love working here. You will not be disappointed

Yes, but a Licensed and Insured Bartender must serve it

Set up, clean up, tables, chairs, linens, house decor and breakdown and so much more

Yes, we od require Event Insurance. And same applies to your vendors.

Your reservation includes 14 hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up.

Yes!

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

No, we do require that you hire one of our preferred catering companies to ensure your guests are having the best quality and safe food at your event.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
