The Candlewood Inn is a stunning waterfront venue located in Brookfield, CT. Imagine your ceremony overlooking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding hills, a sunset cocktail reception on the lakefront lawn, and a gorgeous ballroom with arched windows allowing natural light and stunning views of the shimmering lake. Crystal chandeliers adorn the ballroom and cast a warm glow over the festivities. Our event team has more than 20 years of experience on property and will design a beautiful celebration for you and your partner. Led by our Executive Chef and in-house culinary team, the reception package offers a five-hour event with a premium open bar, butler passed hors d’oeuvres, cocktail hour stations, plated dinner or dinner stations, tiered cake and coffee. Our team is eager to help you create the perfect event, and will pull out all the stops to ensure a flawless and fabulous night.

Hands down the best venue and team to take care of you on your big day. Experienced and cognizant of every person’s needs - their attention to detail and execution will make what should be an great day an unforgettable one.

We include two hours early access to the property for the couple, wedding party and immediate family before the event for pictures. CEREMONY: We anticipate your guests will arrive 30 minutes before the start of your ceremony and include champagne and light refreshments upon arrival. One hour is reserved for the ceremony, if the full hour isn't used, any remaining time is applied to the reception. RECEPTION: Your reservation is for a five hour reception which includes a cocktail reception and four hours for dinner and dancing.

The package includes a premium open bar and majority of our clients simply enjoy what is included. Though we do not allow outside alcohol, if you are interested in specific wine selections, we are happy to discuss this with you.

Yes, we have self parking at no charge. Valet vendors may be arranged by the client.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

We do not have a rental fee. Use of the venue is included in your per person package pricing.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The client understands that due to the nature of the business where events are booked well in advance, cancellations will likely result in considerable losses.
