About this venue
Located at the south end of L.A.’s downtown Arts District, The Clara is a historic Art Deco bank, revived as a daylight photo studio and event space. Stunning features include its original bank vault from 1923, elegant 19’ ceilings with authentic pillar sculpture, and custom lighting installations by architectural designer, Brian Thoreen. This 4,300 square foot two-story venue is an ideal space for events, film & photo shoots, and art exhibitions.

Your reservation includes 12 hours from start to finish, including setup time, event time, and strike time. Any additional time will be billed at $300 per hour.

Yes, we have an attached parking lot that can fit 14 stacked cars and there is also a lot across the street that you can rent for additional parking.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have a ramp at the main entrance, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.
