About this venue

The Ballroom at Union Square is a historic space located downtown Newark. Originally built in 1902 originally as a dance hall the venue was renovated and re-opened in 2016 as a concert hall. To our surprise couples began booking weddings and to date we have hosted more than 50. The venue is three stories and features the main ballroom, two full service bars, a full service kitchen, changing rooms, and onsite accommodations for the couple.

Main Ballroom

A historic space for ceremonies and receptions.

This space is a historic ballroom with stage, full service bar, and mezzanine overlooking the main ballroom floor. Located on the second floor with elevator access.

Our bar packages can include water, sodas, coffee, tea, lemonade, domestic beer, craft beer, wine, well, and shelf liquors. You may also allow guests to purchase items not included in your package.
