About this venue
The Vinton War Memorial is owned and operated by the Town of Vinton and often hosts public events at the venue. The Vinton War Memorial was originally conceived as the centerpiece of an 11.5-acre park that could be enjoyed by the community while honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country during World War II. The park was completed in 1946 and the two-story brick building known as the Vinton War Memorial was dedicated and opened to the public on August 20, 1948. Initially, it included the town's library, small meeting rooms, and the Dogwood Ballroom.

Exclusive use of the entire building. You may enter on Friday from 11 am to 8 pm.. On Saturday, you may enter as early as 11 am; your event ends at 11 pm, and all guests must be off the premises by 11:30 pm. This package includes choice of basic linens and access to our in-house décor items. You can utilize the space for your rehearsal dinner the day prior.
