About this venue

Originally built by Henry Woolery in 1930, Woolery Mill has been transformed into an industrial chic venue with modern amenities. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2002, the mill is a former A.J. Woolery & Sons quarry with a variety of buildings, structures, and objects originally used for limestone production. The mill shut down production in 1996 and the property has been vacant since. Woolery Mill offers one the most inclusive and unique wedding experiences in southern Indiana all while maintaining the highest standards. The newly renovated architectural genius boasts soaring ceilings, massive exposed beams and an incredible amount of natural light. Sitting on the historic registry at 76,000 square feet, WM includes exclusive rental of the facility and grounds, multiple outdoor spaces for on site ceremonies, bridal lounges for both parties, plenty of picturesque spots to sneak away with your photographer to as well as countless conveniences and additional amenities.

Your exclusive rental of WM allows you to utilize the space however you would like - we encourage you to get creative! Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

You are responsible for set up and tear down of any personal items or decor you bring into WM (if not handled by other hired vendors). WM takes care of set up, management and tear down of all items provided with the rental, including tables and chairs.

WM has the option to include limestone table numbers.

One World Catering is the in-house caterer for the space and offers both food and beverage options, including bar service. WM can also provide you with a list of vendors we work with frequently and recommend. You are also welcome to bring in your own vendors.

While there will be a person onsite all day representing WM, this person does not play the same role as a day-of wedding coordinator. WM's Event Producer is there to make sure that all venue details that happen behind the scenes are getting taken care of as well as assisting our in-house catering team as needed.

If you would like to secure WM for your preferred wedding date, we require a signed contract and a 25% deposit. All dates are booked on a first come first serve basis. For your convenience, a two week hold may be placed on an available date.

All food must be purchased and provided through One World Catering, with the exception of dessert or wedding cake and late night snack items. A cake cutting fee applies to all outside wedding cake, excluding cutting cakes. You may bring approved food and beverage items into the bridal lounges or order items through OWC.
