What kind of services do you offer?

Feature films, drone footage, Super 8 films, extra coverage… we pretty much do anything you could want! After we chat about your vision we’ll send you a customized proposal with enhancements we think you’ll love!

Question 2

Can we alter a collection?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! You can add enhancements to any collection or even ask us to create a custom collection for you. We want you to get exactly what you want out of your wedding coverage, so the sky is the limit!

Question 3

Do you offer any help with planning or the timeline?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you love planning like we do, check out our process on our website where you can learn all about our process and tips for video coverage. We also participate in a number of styled shoots each year to help inspire ideas! We also have a list of amazing vendors in the Austin area, just mention it when you book.

Question 4

Do you have experience with lighting?

Accepted Answer

Indeed! We use natural light as much as possible. In the instance that we don’t have as much as we’d like, or for dimly lit receptions, we’ll have lights with us so everything looks perfect.

Question 5

We really hate being on camera.

Accepted Answer

But you’re so beautiful! We know it’s awkward to have all the focus on you, but we’re going to do our best to make you as comfortable as possible. We’re documentary filmmakers, so we’re used to getting people to relax in front of the camera in all kinds of situations.

Question 6

Are you going to direct us?

Accepted Answer

We capture most of the day organically and in a “fly-on-the-wall” fashion. But we do ask for at least 20 minutes to film some intimate moments of just the two of you, and usually this is when we may direct you a little bit. But we promise, any movement and action is very natural and we usually take cues from your photographer, too.

We’re nervous about how you’ll work with our photographer. Is it going to be chaotic?

Oh we totally get the anxiety, but we’re very used to working with photographers and we love the collaboration! In fact, on more than one occasion photographers have expressed how much they enjoy working with us because there are twice the ideas to make you look awesome! We also have a list of photographers we love working with. (Just ask!)

When can we expect our film(s)?

We pride ourselves on our detailed edits that are driven by storytelling. Because of this, we ask for you to give us 12-18 weeks to ensure everything is absolute perfection before you see it. If that seems like forever, just order a sneak peek and you’ll get a minute-long trailer a week after wedding day!

Can we pick our own music?

So here’s the deal. Licensing music is super duper important, and there’s only a few popular songs that are reasonably priced. Most of the time we use a service called Musicbed that has some songs from amazing, if lesser known, artists. We’ve never had a complaint about our music choices for films. In fact, it’s something we start thinking about the moment we meet!

How long do you store our film(s)?

Indefinitely! And it’s backed up to the cloud. Which means you are totally welcome to order more hard copies, a FOMO edit or ceremony + toasts edit at any time, whether its months or even years after the wedding day.

Question 11

Can we purchase raw footage?

Accepted Answer

We do not offer our raw footage to our clients. The reason for that is simple: raw footage is captured in a way that is not fit for your viewing pleasure. Our alternative is the ceremony & toasts edit (for all the important audio) or the FOMO edit (for full moments of every part of the day).

Are you vaccinated?

Accepted Answer

Yup! Fully vaccinated and boosted! We don’t want to take any chances and we respectfully request that your wedding abides by any restrictions in place. We can accommodate one postponement at no charge. Further postponements (unless they are government-forced) will incur a rebooking fee of $500.

Question 13

Do you travel? What about fees?

We love to travel! For destination weddings, we ask that you get us there and provide clean and safe accommodations. We charge a small fee of $395 for events in or near: Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Waco, Phoenix, San Diego, Portland and Lake Tahoe.

Do you film elopements?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements! We also do micro weddings. Please note your micro wedding must have fewer than 30 total guests.

Question 15

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up 9 to 18 months in advance.

Question 16

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We’re happy to send a copy of our certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request. We're also FAA-certified drone pilots, which means we also have drone insurance.

Question 17

Can you still film our outdoor wedding if it rains on our wedding day?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot film outdoors in the rain or other inclement weather conditions like snow and hail. Our equipment is precious, but we sure will do our best to make sure your wedding looks as beautiful as possible!

Can you do a same-day edit?

Not yet! We're working on figuring out the workflow for this one. Stay tuned!

Can anyone else see our wedding video?

Once your highlight film is done and you've taken some time to watch it and let us know how much you love it, we do like to share on social media! We will never share your full ceremony, toasts or FOMO edit with anyone but you at your private link!

Question 20

How many videographers should we book for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

All of our wedding packages include at least two videographers. If you’re having a larger wedding with 200 or more guests, we recommend booking an additional videographer for your ceremony and reception to ensure we’re able to capture every moment of your special day.

Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?

Love is love! We welcome couples of every race, orientation, shape, size, ability and belief system. You’ll never be turned away from us or receive lesser treatment because of your lifestyle or who you are. Consider us a safe vendor who values equality in everything we do!

Question 22

What payment methods do you take?

Accepted Answer

To book us, we require 30% of your contract at the time that y’all sign. It’s non-refundable unless something happens to us and we can’t find a solid replacement. The next 30% is due mid-way through your engagement with us and the remaining 40% we'll take care of 30 days ahead of your wedding day so you don't have to stress! We accept credit cards, ACH and checks by mail.
