Hello, my name is Darren Baca and I am the owner and director of Reel Eyes. From a very early age, film has always been a passion of mine. As a child my favorite toy was my parent’s video camera as I was always making movies with friends. Instead of writing book reports in high school teachers allowed me to make video spoofs instead. Because of this, I helped start a video production class at my former high school that gives students the opportunity to explore their own creative paths.

After obtaining my cinematography degree, I launched my own videography business in 2009. My love for storytelling and passion for film made this decision clear. Fast forward to now and I’ve filmed and edited well over 200 weddings, met amazing clients along the way, and have traveled the world to do so. Every couple and their story is unique which is what makes creating wedding videos so fun. I always look forward to the next one. When I’m not filming or editing you’ll find me on the golf course, hiking & backpacking, fishing, traveling, enjoying some Giants baseball, or just hanging out with friends and family.
