Edwards Place, built in 1833, was a social center of antebellum Springfield. In its gracious parlors Abraham Lincoln, Stephen Douglas, Ulysses S. An intimate and versatile venue designed to host various gatherings and functions. Our space is well-suited for events such as meetings, workshops, seminars, bridal showers, birthday parties, and small receptions. The Coventry Room was carefully curated to create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Grace Lutheran Church was organized on February 2, 1888, with 18 charter members. It was notable for being the first “English” church, with services in English rather than Swedish, in the Augustana Synod. Connections to Augustana College were strong, and services were held at Augustana’s chapel in the early years of the church.

The Barn at Bull Run is a newly renovated wedding and event space. Originally built in 1933 as a dairy barn, The Barn at Bull Run was owned by Schwab Dairy until it was purchased by the Presbytery of Peoria as well as the surrounding land in the fall of 1967. The Morton Park District now owns the property and has completely restored and renovated the space into a beautiful wedding venue, complete with a ceremony space, reception space, bridal suite, and grooms suite. The venue can hold a max capacity of 250 people.
