I have been DJing for friends, family, weddings, schools, and corporate events since 2010. In 2023, I finally launched my company, Williams Weddings and Events with a surge in demand for wedding services. I spent a few years working as a technical manager for a local theater company in Portland. My passion for excellence in audio came from this time running productions for the theater. I now DJ because I love it. It is my passion and an outlet for joy and creativity.

Melvins DJ Service is owned by Melvin and his wife, Sarah. Together for the past almost 10 years, they have built their business from the ground up, while raising their 3 kids. They have recently expanded into a photobooth business (The Couve Booth) primarily operated by Sarah, although offering packages that include both services. Operating out of SW Washington, DJ Melvin serves a broad range of clients and styles in a broad range of areas across Portland and Vancouver area. We do not contract out our DJ services.

John Ross Music and Production got its start in 2004. The simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and in 2010 the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized the musician/DJs at John Ross Music and Production as the “Best Ceremony Musicians” in the state in 2013. I love my job. For me, it’s kind of two-fold.
