I'm a Bay Area native with over 12 years in the commercial photography realm. I got my start on the beaches of Los Angeles back in 2012 shooting commercial swimwear campaigns for some of the best designers in swim and fashion. That opened the door to countless opportunities with modeling agencies, reality television, and fashion design. In 2018 I made the move back up north to San Francisco where I grew up. With a wide network of friends and family up here, I found myself catapulted into the Wedding and Elopement industry - and absolutely loved it! I'm honored when I get to be a part of one of the best days of a couple's life together.

My journey as a photographer began in my teenage years when my Uncle, an avid photographer, sparked my love for the art by showing me the magic of capturing life's moments. With over 100 weddings under my belt as a lead photographer and mentorship from some of the Bay Area's top wedding photographers, I bring a wealth of experience to each and every shoot. My goal is always to produce images that are not just beautiful but also truly authentic.

After attending Monterey Peninsula College & California State University Monterey Bay I pursued a part-time career in Photography while working for Monterey County & Carmel Unified School District. Although photography and studio art has always been my passion, I enjoyed working with children from all walks of life, including special needs. Building relationships, volunteering, and supporting my local community. When you support Raquel Serene Photography, 10% of the proceeds go to support The Red Cross.
