The Hollywood Theater is an iconic Art Deco landmark in Northeast Minneapolis. When it opened in 1936, the theater was described as “the incomparable showcase of the Northwest’’. After years of decline, the theater closed in 1987 and was purchased by the city of Minneapolis. Twenty-five years of inaction and neglect followed until 2014 when the National Park Service recognized the building’s historical significance and listed it on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2015 the theater was sold to Northeast-resident and entrepreneur Andrew Volna, who saved the building and restored its original Art Deco splendor. Today it is ready to host your event.

Urban Growler Brewing is a wedding and rehearsal dinner venue located in a secluded industrial neighborhood in St. Paul. The historic building which was once home to St. Paul’s police horses is now transformed into Minnesota’s first woman owned brewery. Both the Hayloft and the Barrel Room are versatile spaces for your rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, wedding ceremony, reception, elopement after-party, and morning brunch! The space requires minimal decor with its rich textures and warm lighting. Use our on site catering or choose to bring in your own. Cheers to your special day with our original craft beer and hard seltzers. Staffing, day of coordination, tables and chairs, setup, and teardown are all included. Free parking all around the venue or easily accessible to rideshare and shuttles.

NORD SOCIAL HALL is the newest addition to the French Meadow family of welcoming event spaces. It is located at our Lyndale Avenue flagship location and holds up to 150 people. Nord Social Hall can be dressed to suit your event–from “Gatsby” style glamour to French Provencial elegance. With hardwood floors, a large wood-slatted wall and eclectic clusters of chandeliers, the Social Hall allows for your style to come through. The interpretive center has several rooms and spaces available to rent for meetings, wedding receptions, galas, company events, birthday parties, family reunions and more! The multipurpose room can be split into three smaller spaces (Aspen, Oak and Willow), two larger rooms or left as one large room. The interpretive center also has a smaller, separate conference room, an exhibit space and a patio space that are available to rent.
