Mini Melanie was founded in 2015 by sisters Melanie and Diana Moss. Melanie grew up baking with their grandmother, and her hobby steadily grew into an obsession. While attending Northwestern University, Melanie studied in Paris and was Sous Chef at Cours de Cuisine atelier. She later attended the Institute of Culinary Education and honed her craft in the Michelin-starred kitchens of Babbo and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, where she was Pastry Sous Chef. Melanie’s desserts have been recognized in the 2016 New York City Michelin guide, and in 2018, Melanie became Champion of a special-themed chocolate competition on Food Network’s CHOPPED.

Sarah & Simon Cake Design is a custom cake company based in Brooklyn. We specialize in unique and artful designs to create truly one-of-a-kind wedding and celebration cakes. Pulling from her background in fine art, Sarah approaches cake design from the standpoint of an artist to inform the way she composes and creates edible work. Here is the corner stone of our house, Mr. Armando Leyva. At the very young age of 23, along side his wife Mrs. Lorely Leyva, they decided to follow in his fathers foot steps and enter the bakery business. Still a novice to the bakery world, he leaned on his fathers many years of expeciece as a bread master. Much to his surpise the bakery was much more than just breads, soon they would discover many talents needed to be learned and fast.

Jon Payson and Naomi Josepher moved to NYC in the early Nineties. Together, they enjoyed seeking out phenomenal desserts all around the city. When they moved to Park Slope, Brooklyn in 2003, they noticed a need for a dessert café on quickly changing Fifth Avenue. After reading an inspirational book on chocolate, they decided to create a café specializing in high-end chocolate, extraordinary desserts, handmade ice creams, dessert wines and beers from all over the world, as well as superb coffee. They opened in January 2005 and is currently serving the Cobble Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn.

Pistachio's owner Erin Emmett has developed culinary concepts unparalleled to traditional techniques in the food industry. Erin offers a fresh, refined approach to creative events, delivery one-of-a-kind spreads at cocktail parties, backyard milestone events, weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and more. Erin has collaborated with world-renowned chefs and has put together dessert spreads at events to the stars of Silicon Valley and corporate clients including Google, Salesforce, and LinkedIn. She has had the privilege to work with Michelin-starred restaurants and some of the most influential makers in the culinary world.

Sugar Monster is an award winning, concierge cake studio owned by Pastry Chef Ashley Holt. Ashley has won prestigious honors in her field and is currently working as the Senior Food Stylist at the TODAY Show. She has been in the cake industry for 10 years and puts incredible attention to detail in each of her designs. Her availability is limited and she is very selective with the orders she currently takes. Lael Cakes is a Brooklyn based boutique cake studio specializing in desserts made with alternative ingredients. We use our own unique blend of non-gluten flours to make the perfect pastry flour. Organic ingredients are substituted for refined sugar, saturated fat, and dairy. Our works are vibrantly colored with dyes extracted from the natural pigments of fruits and vegetables.
