Owner, Jennifer Guion performs the many jobs needed to own and operate a small business: owner, manager, designer, buyer, and accountant. She has always had interests in both science and art, and pursued a degree in environmental science with a concentration in biology but found that it wasn’t a creative enough environment. After nurturing interests in creative fields, floral design won out over photography and other pursuits. In 1998 Jennifer decided the perfect way to balance her diverse interests in art and science would be to become an entrepreneur and open her own floral business.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Bridget opened her 1st flower shop at the young age of 9. Many childhood afternoons were spent clearing out her bedroom closet to create her dream store. Summer afternoons were spent arranging silk flowers she found around the house and picking dandelions (the “pretty” weeds) from the garden to sell to her family and stuffed animals. In the years that have followed that first flower shop, Bridget has gained the necessary skills, experience and credentials to bring her childhood dream into reality. Bridget has over 20 years of Floral Design experience in flower shops spanning several states before opening Pretty Petals by Bridget in 2010.

Aneta developed a passion for flowers and design early in her life. She has been involved in the floral industry for more than fifteen years and began her floral education in her native country of Poland. She brought her Polish influence to Minnesota and continued her education at Hennepin Technical College and the Institute of Floristry. She was an owner of European Floral Galleria for three years with a floral shop located in Woodbury, MN. Few years ago, Aneta reorganized her business model and created European Floral, a design studio focusing on floral arrangements for weddings and other special events.
