The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. Mill Creek Falls Retreat LLC began as Camp Donegal. A church camp owned by the Donegal Presbytery. They sold it to Alex and Amy Kauffman who sold it to the Lancaster Conservancy who subdivided it, took the woodland and preserved it for future generations to enjoy and sold off 32 acres and the Campground to Ronnie & Kelly Miller who own it today. The building that houses the Club was originally built in 1928 by The Women’s Club of Allentown. It was later purchased by The Bar Association of Lehigh County in 1991, where it underwent extensive renovations to restore it to its original grandeur. In 2008 the building underwent a $250,000 renovation to once again update the facility with new carpet, hardwood floors, audio/visual, upgraded kitchen appliances, fresh paint, a new bar, resurfaced parking lot and the creation of an intimate garden in the rear of the building for outdoor intimate affairs. Today, the building currently houses the offices for The Bar Association of Lehigh County and is available to the general public to be rented for special events.
