Our banquet room comprises of floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the golf course with panoramic views of the grounds also, the outdoor pavilion tent accommodates up to 350 guests. 260 acres of beautifully maintained grounds and clubhouse and can accommodate up to 330 guests for golf outings, meeting or banquets (240 guests for wedding receptions). Sherwood Gardens is a progressive & inclusive venue welcoming traditional as well as non traditional weddings & ceremonies. The 10 acre estate is located in the City of Plainwell offering conveniences of the city while maintaining a secluded natural environment. The weekend estate rental includes 3 days & 2 nights lodging providing guests with a relaxed experience and ample time for preparation, celebrations, & cleanup. Estate rental includes full use of the Event Barn, grounds, & house. The 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house sleeps up to 16 guests, & is perfect for the family & wedding parties to get ready & stay for the weekend. A weekend stay allows parties additional time in the Event Barn for set up, decorating, & rehearsal dinner as well as cleanup. The barn, originally built in 1888 still maintains the exposed wood beams, weathered plank walls, and a soaring vaulted ceiling displaying the gambrel roof.
