The Majestic theatre is one of the largest Vaudeville theatre’s in Chicago-land and oldest in the United States, will re-open in late 2010 as a multi-purpose venue. The theatre featuring a/an full stage, 20-foot screen, art deco grand style second & third floor balconies, and rear walking museum will seat 500. The Crow and Calico Tavern at Crozehead Cooperage is a truly unique venue. We are located in Southern Edgar County out in the country on a pond. We opened in August of 2010 and produce and bottle our own wine. Our banquet hall is 40x60. area. We have a stone fireplace on the South wall and a stone bar. The rest of the room is open. There is a separate door that enters the banquet hall from the outside, and an exit door to the wine garden outside. If you rent our banquet hall, we will supply you with tables & chairs. The tables will have white tablecloths. We do have a beer & liquor license, but this is for special events only and needs to be mentioned at the time of booking your event.

The Haight is a wedding and event venue located in Elgin, IL and is enveloped by a historic neighborhood, for a romantic and storied setting for your wedding. This converted warehouse was originally constructed in the 1890s. It began as the Elgin Storage & Transfer Company. Over the years numerous companies used the building until 1985 when it was bought by John Haight, who refurbished the building. The Haight features two floors and a rooftop area. Exposed ductwork is accented by brick walls and hardwood flooring. There are multiple spaces for hosting your ceremony, reception, and a number of other wedding-related gatherings. On the first floor, there is room for up to 175 guests standing. This makes the 2,000-square-foot space ideal for the cocktail reception. The second floor features 7,000-square-feet of space. 300 people seated or 250 people seated with a dance floor can fit in this event area. You can also take your celebrations outside on the spacious rooftop deck.
