I would only highly suggest you have your videographers or someone with a mic spend time recording the music because that is my one regret, not being able to hear all of the music again.”

“BVTLive! was all around an excellent choice for our wedding. DJ Linx was amazing! His communication was incredible; he responded to our emails and messages quickly, usually within a few minutes to an hour. We ran through the whole night with him in a few video calls leading up to the wedding. We went through all family intro pronunciations and he double checked with everyone the day-of to make sure everything was correct. He worked with our day-of coordinator to ensure the timeline was correct and everything ran smoothly. We gave him a few spotify playlists that he stuck to very well, with a few additions that were perfect. He read the room very well and everyone had a great time - kids, adults, and older relatives. The midnighters were super easy to work with! They performed for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. They have a long list of songs they are able to play for the procession and recession, and learned one song from scratch for us - a song they had never played before - and it sounded amazing. John, the sax player, is the band leader, served as our MC, and made our wedding day run flawlessly despite the weather totally interrupting all of our plans! He helped us design our reception timeline, worked behind the scenes with our venue to make sure food serving times aligned with their sets, and effortlessly incorporated all of our music requests. Us and our guests had an absolute blast, many guests telling us it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. The dance floor was packed literally the entire night. The band uses medleys of similar genres/songs, so that they are not stuck on one song for too long and the music seems cohesive rather than jumping all over the place. “We had an amazing experience working with Jamie (DJ Casanova) for our wedding in October 2022 (been meaning to write a review for so long)! Jamie was very professional throughout the whole planning process. We actually hired him in 2020 but we had to postpone our wedding twice because of covid (he was very flexible and made the postponement process very smooth). We met virtually/over the phone a few times and he assured us he was available to meet as many times as we'd like. Closer to our wedding date, we had a more formal meeting where we went through the timeline of the whole reception detail by detail. He had a form where we put in all the information, which showed he was experienced at the job. I was very particular about the type of music I wanted to be played at our reception and he was super easy-going about it and assured us that he was there to implement our vision. On our actual wedding day, everything went as planned and honestly even better than I could have ever imagined! I love to dance and so do many of our guests, and thanks to Jamie, the dance floor was never empty even for one second! He knew how to read the room and change the music accordingly. Even after our wedding, everyone couldn’t stop talking about how fun the party was! In sum, I highly recommend Jamie and already have recommended him to some friends looking to get married soon!
