The 1883 historical building, affectionately known as Tony’s Conoco, offers the openness of a well planned Museum and provides the space for sit down dining. The museum is a perfect venue conveniently located in the heart of downtown Crested Butte for your wedding ceremony, rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, small wedding reception or private party. Your guests will enjoy the reminiscent ambiance of our building, experience the exhibits and relax in the beautiful outdoor patio garden adjacent to the museum. No need to decorate, our exhibits and artifacts that live here already have that covered for you! Our building can accommodate up to 80 guests for a seated dinner or up to 120 guests with a mingling style setting. We offer an onsite kitchen available for your catering needs and flexibility in the choice of your caterer and other vendors.

Awarded Best of Zola
As parents of the Groom, with a destination wedding, we opted to host a Welcome Reception rather than the traditional rehearsal dinner. The event was scheduled for a Friday evening with an open house format. The idea was to provide a central point for travelers to touch base. The Museum provided the ideal setting. With the Bride and Groom and their circle of friends being both huge mountain bike and back country skiers, the theme was ideal. For all, older and families, the museum provided the old and the new and great insight into the town and the surrounding area. Many made use of this for activities preceding the late afternoon Saturday wedding. The accommodation by the Museum with the local caterer to set up a buffet of finger foods and maybe a mini doughnut or two was perfect. Combined with a strategically placed refreshment bar made great use of the space. Allowing all the guests to meet, greet or renew, while enjoying the museums presentations. The best recommendation we can provide, we would do it again!

Freight

5.0

Leadville, CO
  • Up to 220 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $6,000

Freight is situated in the shadow of Mt. Elbert, Colorado’s highest fourteener. A passenger train still puffs by the window every afternoon. The gorgeous, fully restored depot holds over 200 people, making it a perfect event venue, conference center, or wedding venue in Leadville, Colorado. Along with the barn-like depot, the property includes an elegant courtyard, retrofitted whisky lime lounge in a historic shed, and conference room for workshops and intimate family gatherings.

The entire Freight team was phenomenal to work with. The entire coordination process was streamlined and stress free. Nothing was missed, and everyone was a joy to work with and to be around. On top of everything, their vendor suggestions were top tier. Our day would not have been the same without this venue.

Chasing Rabbits

5.0

Vail, CO
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $12,000

Chasing Rabbits represents the next step forward in entertainment. Here, you will find your senses stimulated as you eat, drink, socialize, and play. How do you define Chasing Rabbits? A restaurant, a library lounge, an arcade, and a speakeasy make this venue the most dynamic entertainment experience. It’s a place where you can indulge in an intimate Mediterranean meal, savor craft cocktails, enjoy a movie screening, host private events, and immerse yourself in Vail’s most unique and elevated nightlife scene.

We had THE BEST time hosting our wedding rehearsal at Chasing Rabbits in Vail! The venue is AMAZING and our friends are still RAVING about how gorgeous and unique the place is. We rented the whole venue and hosted our event in the dining room, arcade, library lounge, and speakeasy. Each room is like its own world and totally unique. The design of the space is impeccable and looks like something you would find in a cosmopolitan city. The place is great for photo ops (the infinity corridor mirror hall is iconic) and us and our guests got amazing wedding photos! We started our night with a cocktail hour in the dining room/library and then transitioned to a full dinner. The food was so DELICIOUS and drinks were very tasty! SERVICE WAS SUPERB and staff always went the extra mile! We then had a full party in the arcade. Our guests loved playing games and were super entertained (who can say they got to play games at a rehearsal dinner?!). Later we hired a DJ and it felt like we were in a nightclub because the sound-quality was so good they have DJ lights already installed in the place, which made for a really cool aesthetic. At the end of the night we went into the speakeasy, which gives off luxe and intimate/cozy vibes, for drinks and late-night bites. I highly RECOMMEND booking this space for your upcoming wedding related event!
