I began my filmmaking journey all the way back in middle school (which is further back than I care to admit), making silly videos with my friends. Photography has become my creative outlet, especially when I got out of the Navy and needed it most. I fell in love with the entire process from getting to know the couples to editing the images. Now, at Murphy Studios, I film weddings and photograph everything, including engagements, anniversaries, military homecomings, families, professional headshots and events. My name is Chief and I'm the founder of Chief the Creator. This business came about from my passion for shooting and capturing stunning imagery. I started out with photography but soon found a stronger passion for videography. I love creating cinematic videos and being able to capture all of the most important moments of your big day and turning them into a beautiful, telling love story. While I have gravitated towards videography, my wife Amanda has fully taken over the photography aspect. Her love for photography and her ability to connect to our clients is unmatched. Together we love capturing and creating beautiful photos and videos.

After freelancing over 9-10 years as a Wedding Cinematographer and Photographer, I have finally achieved the dream of opening my own studio. I came to the states in 2015 to get my Masters in International Business but fell in love with the art of capturing light. Since then, I’ve never looked back. I chose weddings because I love to capture emotions. They are rare and candid in weddings, which you’ll never find elsewhere. Being able to record and showcase those moments that the couple and their family will cherish forever is priceless.

I'm William, a dedicated and passionate photographer/videographer based in Washington, DC. My love of photography was born out of my love of travel. While exploring other countries and cultures, I was using my phone to document the people that I met and the places that I have been. This led me to buy my first professional-level camera; it has been with me ever since. I consider my photography style to be timeless. When I'm not behind the lens, you'll find me at my local movie theater or spending quality time with my family and friends.

Hey there! I’m Jay, born and raised in New York and still a New Yorker. My passion for video goes back for years. I love weddings and work best with couples who allow me to learn their story and feel their vibe. I believe that in order to make an amazing and meaningful wedding film, we have to know each other.

We are Mark and Courtney, New Jersey based Cinematographers, and now married couple. In the last almost decade we have been a part of many beautiful weddings in NJ, NY, CT, PA, The Berkshires, etc. Our journey as filmmakers started when Mark was asked to capture a few of our friends' weddings. After some time and a BIG push Project 8 was finally created. Project 8 was named after the town Mark was born in the Philippines. Naming our small business Project 8 is special to us because it always reminds us of our humble beginnings.

Justin is the owner of the company and manages sales, customer service, and operations. He grew up in the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester and has lived in this area all his life. He attended college in Philadelphia and received his Bachelor of Arts from Temple University in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media in 2003. He then went on to complete his Masters in Business Administration at Penn State University in 2006. After forming Valley Creek Productions in 2005, Justin shot over 350 weddings, events, and corporate videography projects.
