Our mission is to help you create a beautiful and memorable event you and your guests will love. The work we do is wild and artful. All our floral pieces use local flowers & foliage you won’t find anywhere else (cause we grow them ourselves) and tried and true favorites from other Alaskan farmers and beyond.

From an early age, I could often be found knee deep in mud & weeds. I spent my most memorable childhood summers exploring the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, gathering treasures under the shade of the oaks on my abuelita’s ranch. When I moved north to Alaska, my love for the natural world grew deeper still. I found myself out foraging food & flowers on our endless trails, returning home with basketfuls of lupine, fireweed, fern, & fritillaria. Designing floral vignettes became a creative outlet as I balanced a career working in nonprofits. I made the jump into full-time floral design 5 years ago & have never looked back!

As a born and raised Alaskan I have a deep love and respect for all things in nature. I grew up spending summers commercial fishing in Cook Inlet and foraging yarrow on the shores that I have the privilege to call home. My hope is to translate my love for adventure and the beautiful outdoors into my art by using foraged Alaskan blooms as well as locally sourced and grown florals as much as possible.

Johanna Andersen Creative does floral preservation, framing, and design. Their main focus is preservation through the process of pressing. They take florals from your wedding and turn it into a framed piece of everlasting, floral beauty.

Our combined background gives us the knowledge to help couples access the Last Frontier and create an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience that's distinctive to them. Alaska's mountains, glaciers, rugged beaches, tidal inlets, and vast tundras make incredible settings for celebrations. We collaborate with couples to select locations that complement their personal love story and aesthetics. At Uptown Blossoms we do consultations for wedding flowers, wedding planning and memorial services. Uptown Blossoms has been in business for more then 35 years.

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. Creating something truly unique for you is my greatest passion. Although my business is based in Kansas, I ship flowers all over the US! I handcraft your wedding flowers from the pages of your favorite books, using your favorite flowers (no matter the season) and in your choice of colors! We'll work together to create truly unique keepsakes from one of the biggest days of your life. As a cherry on top, my flowers don't require any preservation after your wedding day and will last for decades to come!

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! I'm a proud first-gen., Latina & Dallas native who finds joy in every facet of flowers. Growing up, my dad filled my childhood with gardening & my love for flowers sprouted there. In high school, I enrolled in Skyline's High School's floral design program in which my classmates & I learned floral designs basics + the business side of the flower industry. There, I would frequently compete against other high schools & received my Level 1 & 2 certifications by the TSFA. I founded La Fuente de Flores in 2019 & have rebranded as Monarch & Marigold Studio. I'm also a hobby flower grower so quite literally, I'm always surrounded by flowers.

Vita Fiori is a mobile flower shop. We work out of a renovated 1971 camper trailer which we have affectionately named The Flower Wagon. I believe in love and self acceptance and making life beautiful. We specialize in whimsical and romantic designs that feel luxurious.

The Teal Door AK is owned and operated by Kasara Bertels. I create custom floral arrangements in my home studio location of Sutton, Alaska. I enjoy using the perfect blend of local foliage and specialty stems to create custom pieces for my clients. Combining my passion for florals and my love of art, I create top-notch designs to achieve my client’s visions. The Teal Door AK works exclusively with their brides to create a one of a kind experience for a magical day to remember. Fun fact: Kasara has a teal front door which inspired my business name!
