Breckenridge, CO
  • Starts at $4,000

Elevating wedding experiences with our full-scale, high-end floral designs, our Breckenridge-based company specializes in creating stunning arrangements inspired by the unique and unexpected, set amidst the breathtaking backdrop of the Colorado Rockies.

Carla and team at Garden of Eden Colorado are phenomenal! Every time we have the opportunity to collaborate, I just know the couple will be blown away by Carla's creativity, knowledge of flower types and their seasons, which flowers work best in Colorado's high country (also in very dry environments), and her overall dedication to bringing a floral vision to life. She's a straight shooter when it comes to what will and won't work well together and I value her expertise anytime she offers it! As a wedding planner, it's my job to pair couples with vendors that are well vetted, reputable, reliable, and at the top of their respective categories within the industry. That's what makes it so easy to recommend Garden of Eden! I have zero doubt that Carla will knock it out of the park - every single time.

Petal And Bean

5.0

Breckenridge, CO

Petal & Bean is a boutique floral & event planning company nestled in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. Petal & Bean has been in business for 25+ years, and Owner, Kayle Walker Burns, has operated the business since 2014. Curating over 100 events a year, this team has a combined experience of 18+ years.

My husband and I opted for Petal and Bean for both florals and month-of planning. Both services were absolutely outstanding. Our wedding was flawless, the coordination was impeccable, the flowers were unbelievable. We knew we wanted some help from a planner for the day, but we had no idea how above and beyond the Petal and Bean team would go. They helped us the whole way, even though we only got the month package. They included details on the day that were so special to us, on top of creating the most perfect timeline. I literally cannot say enough good things about this team. Best money we spent on our wedding, hands down.

Working with Jen on our florals was the best decision we could have made! Our flowers were ready a month before our wedding taking away a huge stressor for our big day. Her ordering process was easy to use and as time went on whatever changes we needed Jen took care of right away and gave us insight to what would look best. Everything was extremely affordable and being able to personalize your florals is so important and made them all the more special. Our guests and wedding party complimented our centerpieces, arrangements, and bridal party florals all night. Another special aspect is the longevity of our florals. We have both my bouqet and my husbands boutonniere on display in our home and they will last a lifetime for us to look at and remember our wedding. I will forever be thankful for Wood & Word Blooms for making our wedding all the more beautiful.

      The Faux Bouquets

      5.0

      Redlands, CA
      • Starts at $175
      • Serves Edwards, CO

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I chose to do the artificial floral rentals using the lovely lush package and picked the garden vibrance suite. I also added on some other items like the micro floral spray and the mini toss. These items really helped round out my reception. Using the rentals was perfect for me as I knew I simply did not want to have to put in a ton of time assembling floral arrangements and I didn’t have to worry about keeping them/giving them away. They also reached out to see more what I wanted in my keepsake bouquet and boutonnière where I was able to personalize and add succulents! After the ceremony and reception, I received many compliments on how well done the flowers were.

As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

I gave Keri a general vision of what I wanted and she took the reigns and made the most beautiful seasonal bouquets from local flower growers. It was so special for all my bridesmaids to hold our beautiful bouquets together. Many florists have high minimums and I really appreciated that from the start it was clear Keri wanted to make my flower visions come to life without a minimum price adding stress. Instead she worked with what I needed. She also offered tiered options throughout the planning process in order to reduce the cost (such as picking up flowers on wedding day and returning items directly to her afterwards) which I found to be really helpful. She was timely, professional, and extremely flexible considering she installed our entire arrangement for our outdoor ceremony, which was halted by downpour rain. She stayed longer to make the inside arrangement fit to our needs last minute. I would recommend her for any Colorado bride!
