I started my photography business after losing my mom suddenly, it gave me a realization of just how important photos are, and the memories we leave behind. My name is Mandie and I am the owner of Picturesque by Mandie and girl behind the lens. I am an outdoorsy, bookworm girl that loves a good cup of coffee and strives to pet all the puppies!! My husband, Tyler, and I are high school sweethearts and are fur parents to Bodhi and Maui, who I use often as my muses. We love to travel to new places and explore new areas to hike with our dogs. When I am not traveling or wiping muddy paws from a hike, I am catching the anticipation of the bride and groom as they get ready to say their “I dos” to the first dance, and all the sweet moments in-between.

I enjoy capturing moments in time: the first kiss, the smile of a small child, and the look of pride on a father's face. In those candid moments, people don't realize I'm there shooting, until they see the final images and it brings back the memories they thought were lost. I want to capture those little moments so that they can be enjoyed for generations to come.

I have been involved with photography all my life. When language was a barrier, I relied on the medium to tell a story while studying in Europe & earned a BFA from the University of Arizona majoring in photography. My past experiences include the Department Head of Photography at a career school in the Pittsburgh area. I learned a ton of technical knowledge while working at commercial & retail photo studios as well as custom photo labs. I reside in N. Huntingdon with my wife, Heather and our son, Emmett. They are both a constant source of inspiration & support.

First and foremost, I'm so happy you're here! If you inquire with me, I can promise you that I'll lose my mind with excitement. The fact that I get to do what I do is quite literally a dream. And it never gets old. I'm a 26-year-old sociologist-turned-photographer based out of Valencia, PA with a love of books, pierogi, and School of Rock.

I'm super laid back and love meeting new people all the time. I have been doing wedding professionally for 5 years and have loved every single one! However the day goes, the end result is always so much happiness.
