I transplanted to the Pittsburgh area from Central, IL and I’m loving my new home in western PA! My passion for weddings has blossomed over a number of years and I have a fine art degree in photography. My bread and butter is working with couples. I began my journey as a photographer happenstance- I took some photography college credits because I loved the art, and wanted to fulfill a degree in it. Photography helped me to outwardly express the visions that I dreamed of, the visions that I couldn’t express into words.

Happy Out derives from Irish origin- ‘a feeling or strong emotion that you can’t quite put into words about how you are feeling in that moment…blissful, joyful, or pleased is just not enough to convey to others about the butterflies you have in your stomach and that permanent smile you can’t wipe of your face.’ So why is this important? — This is the feeling you should have throughout the entire wedding photography + videography experience, and more importantly when you look back at your once in a lifetime moments in your portraits and film.

I’m a multicultural wedding photographer based in Pittsburgh, PA and serving the surrounding area. My style is truly unique. I would describe it as a cross between modern, fine art and documentary-style photography. What makes me unique is that I do not have a single form of editing style like you see on most photographers instagram pages. I believe each image is unique, and you cannot edit every image the same way. If you like darker edits, I do those. But if you like more vibrant edits, I also do those.
