Hey! I’m Adam, a wedding videographer obsessed with love based in Detroit, Michigan. Marrying the love of my life inspired me to pick up a camera and start documenting all the unique ways love is expressed. Capturing couples in the moment not only preserves a memory — it allows us to revisit the unparalleled feeling of a first kiss as a married couple or the shock of discovering your third cousin has serious dance moves.

My wife, Diana, and I started Big Day Productions over ten years ago with the goal of providing so much more than wedding videography.  We pride ourselves in serving our couples to the best of our ability and providing an amazing wedding experience. We love learning all about our couples, especially their stories. A wedding film is one of the only heirlooms from your wedding day, and to us, is the most important investment a couple can make. We are a husband and wife team that recently just planned our own wedding on our 10 year anniversary so we know what it's like to plan a wedding! We have built quite the life together and our lives revolve around this business and our 2 pups, Pablo + Pedro. We love sushi, iced coffee, ultra-zero monsters, trying new pasta joints (ok, more so Ashley), Breaking Bad, and anything from Kid Cudi. I (Ashley) am the main point of contact for our couples and oversee the majority of the back end work while Austin shoots the weddings with me. It's so fun to be able to do this together!

Akiem has built a young and successful career as a content creator in the professional sports industry. He has worked with respectable brands including, USA Hockey, USA Soccer, NFL Flag, RISE and more. However, during 2020 COVID put a stop on sports, and that allowed him to discover a new passion- an undeniable love for wedding photography and videography “I want my clients to experience my love for creativity and storytelling through serving them on the most important day of their lives.”
