I Do Weddings with Love is my life’s dream. I love to design using texture, organic inspiration, and your dream visions. I am a firm believer that life is as beautiful as you make it. It’s truly a blessing to celebrate your big day and unique love story by bringing your dream event to life. This wonderful experience is about you and for you! I Do Weddings With Love makes each big day unique to each and every individual love story. My goal for every client is to have a memorable floral planning experience, adding to the joy of the upcoming wedding event.

I am the owner and lead designer at Songbird Floral Studio. A native New Yorker that has been "Southerized" (so I have been told!) I studied interior design while living in NY. But then...I met this sailor that brought me to Virginia. I was fortunate to find a job in floral designs. Almost 15 years later and I am still loving it! I love to take classes and always improve what I can do for our clients. Coming up with designs for weddings is truly what I love to do. I feel so blessed to love what I do and to be a part of our couples wedding day. I have a wonderful husband and two grown children that are always supportive and helpful.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. Creating something truly unique for you is my greatest passion. Brin’s Posy is named after my beloved dog. She passed away unexpectedly a few years ago, leaving myself and her pup sister (Abby) to figure out life without her. We were months of grieving her loss when a close friend insisted I channel the grief energy into something positive. A bell went off in my head as my current job as a florist in a far away town was coming to an end. Brin’s Posy helped me come to terms with the loss. I still have Abby (the shop girl) in the shop daily and occasionally out to our farm venues! We love to source local and work with community members.
