Designed to comfortably accommodate groups of up to 56 in a sit down situation, or up to 200 if you are working in an open house style event, this botanical sanctuary is a sought after rental space. We know your wedding day already feels overwhelming, and we don't want to add to that by ushering you in and out on a tight schedule. Our unique model only allows for one event in our Garden House per day, ensuring that you aren't rushed, and have all the time you need for your photos, your ceremony, your special people, and hopefully, the time of your life. At River Bottoms Ranch, we carefully craft your event into something magical and memorable. Located in a picturesque Utah mountain valley, River Bottoms property has been a part of our family for generations. It truly is our “piece of heaven” and our greatest wish is for you to experience the magic and the memories for yourself.

The area which now comprises Memory Grove Park was set aside as a city park in 1902. The park however, remained unimproved until the 1920s when the women of the Salt Lake chapter of the Service Star Legion asked the city to designate the park as a memorial honoring America's soldiers and spearheaded the planting of trees and placement of monuments in the park. Memorial House was constructed around 1890 as a stable and equipment storage shed for contractor Patrick J. Moran. When Salt Lake City acquired the park area in 1902, the city's water department used the building as their barn, tool shed, and blacksmith shop as it was located directly across from the city's water intake structure on City Creek. In 1926, Salt Lake City leased the building to the Service Star Legion which planned to use it for veteran's activities and they renovated it to become an events center, there have been weddings held at Memorial House ever since. Now operated by Preservation Utah.
