I consider myself a fairly organized person, and I always thought I was the type who could handle the entire planning of my wedding day...up until I realized I desperately needed someone to help on the day of. Gather made it so easy to customize my needs for the wedding day! Stephanie was matched as our month of coordinator (but really was 3 months!) with her experience in the wedding and catering industries, we knew she would be an amazing fit! Stephanie came to the table ready to go with great advice, direction, and support prior to the wedding. We had several meetings to talk through the vision and it really came to life! From helping place DIY projects like table numbers, menus, frames, etc, to cake and pizza deliveries, to vendor communication and flow day of (with 7 different vendors), Stephanie was professional and positive all day and night! We had a panic mode mid wedding when we ran out of vodka at the bar and Stephanie let us know right away and actually made the trip herself to get us stocked up again - talk about life saver!!!! Thank you Stephanie and Gather for making our wedding day so memorable and ORGANIZED!

We reached out to Mooi after a friend recommended them to us. We were looking for the month of coordination help rather than full wedding planning, and Mooi offered services for exactly what we needed. We worked with Linda for our 10/2023 wedding and she was excellent! She was exceptionally organized and gave us great feedback and very detailed timeline and checklists for vendors and family. Our wedding was at one of the East Bay regional parks, which came with some challenges and limitations that come with getting married in a public space. Linda Saskia were super helpful in working through those challenges and making sure the day of our wedding went as smoothly as possible and stayed on schedule. They were also extremely helpful in finding great vendors and extra help for us. I was especially grateful when we had one vendor drop off on us last minute and Saskia was able to find a replacement just a few days before the wedding. Would highly recommend using both Mooi and Linda, they were such a delight to work with!

Amanda was our lead wedding planner and she and her A team went above and beyond to make sure our special wedding day was the most amazing we could have ever imagined! My husband and I were so thrilled with all of the attention to details and for taking care of any little or big tasks that came about the day of and the weeks before. I originally reached out to Amanda because we wanted to plan a Hawaii destination wedding. We ended up changing our minds a few weeks into the process and found a local beautiful venue in San Francisco that best suited our needs and vision. Amanda, originally from California was still able to be our lead planner for the day of and flew into SF just to make sure our wedding day was perfect. She was very communicative throughout the planning process and we kept in close contact the 7 months leading up to the big day! We had a fantastic experience working with Elizabeth. She was the day-of-coordinator for our 150-person wedding in Oakland, CA in May 2023. The day before, and the day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to her and her assistant Rachel. We were so grateful for her expertise and support – she did so much for us on the day of the wedding, and I’m certain she was doing things behind the scenes that we didn’t even know about that kept everyone and everything running perfectly, and on time. We confirmed our date with Elizabeth 9 months out, found and signed contracts with the rest of our vendors, and then started communicating with her again a few months out. She helped us with our timeline, got us thinking about quite a few things we hadn’t thought of, and then a few weeks before the wedding, we had a seamless handover. She helped our vision come to life, was very calming and kind, had great communication with the rest of our vendors, and we can’t recommend her enough.

Meshawn and the team at Perfection Unlimited were our Coordination team for our October 2023 wedding. We could not have asked for a better team to coordinate our unique wedding ceremony that was a surprise to our guests. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together. Thanks to PU for what they promised, perfection.

Listen, there's a reason why they call her the Wedding Day Fairy Godmother! I can't fully put into words how amazing Evelyn and her entire team is. They are organized, kind, friendly and resourceful; everything you need by your side on your wedding day! My shoes broke- Evelyn had flip-flops I could wear. My bridesmaids dress got wrinkled in transport- Evelyn had a steamer to take care of it. My MIL's dress strap snapped off- Evelyn had a sewing kit. This team did not miss a beat! I got to work the Yoko and Natalie this fall and was so impressed by the organization and careful planning of the wedding day for our couple.
