Meg, Jordan and their team at Designed Gardens created beautiful arrangements for our wedding day on September 23rd. I wanted flowers to match our rustic theme and they definitely achieved that! Dutch Bloemen Winkel

5.0

Jackson, NH

“Bloemen Winkel” means "Flower Shop" in Dutch. Our flower shop was established in 2004 and is located in Jackson, New Hampshire. We pride ourselves in providing the most beautiful and high-quality flowers available. We import an assortment of flowers from Holland each week. We also source farms across the United States and South America. During our growing season we purchase flowers from local growers and also grow and harvest flowers at the shop owner's local farm property. Owner, Carrie Scribner, will work with you to design the wedding of your dreams!

Carrie and her crew at Dutch Bloemen Winkel are absolutely incredible! From the start, Carrie was flexible and accommodating throughout our planning process. Since we live in Massachusetts and DBW is based in New Hampshire, Carrie was always willing to work around our schedules to plan in person or virtual meetings and made us feel comfortable throughout the planning process. We loved that when we went to meet with Carrie, we found a local, independently owned shop that everyone in the community loved, as was evident by the many customers entering that Carrie and her associates knew by name. However, despite the community-tied feel of this shop, do not be fooled into thinking that they are a small operation! Carrie and her crew provided everything that we needed for a wedding with over 200 guests! Although we knew that our flowers would come out wonderful, on the day of, our arrangements surpassed all of our dreams. Carrie and her crew created beautiful matching bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, urns, table arrangements, an arch and even provided flowers for our cake. Each and every item was gorgeous. Carrie and her crew went above and beyond to ensure that our arch stayed put on our windy rooftop ceremony site and even helped us to stay within our budget by transferring in items from the ceremony to the reception. We cannot recommend Carrie and Dutch Bloemen Winkel enough!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      5.0

      Oklahoma City, OK
      • Serves Intervale, NH

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

I used Flower Moxie for our wedding florals and cannot recommend them enough. I started the process with them in August 2022 for our December 2022 wedding. There was a consultation with a florist, Cristen, who looked at my Pinterest and asked me a lot of questions to help understand my vision, budget, and what specific elements of my inspo photos I liked. She walked me through the flowers on the website that we’d use or rule out. A couple weeks later, she sent me a full “recipe” of all the flowers with a vision board image, as well as affordable suggestions of where to get supplies and what I would need. They definitely don’t push using their supplies exclusively. I decided to make some changes, specifically adding lighter colored roses, and she made some gorgeous suggestions that I was so thrilled with. I placed my order at the end of September. The Thursday before my Sunday wedding, we picked up the flowers from the airport and prep them, which was actually staggeringly easy. On Saturday, all my bridesmaids came over for a “build your own bouquet” party, which turned out to be ridiculously fun and not difficult at all! The videos and tips on the Flower Moxie website make it foolproof, especially since I liked a wilder look. We stuck everything in vases and trimmed and wrapped them on the day of the wedding. It was so, so easy and fun! The quality and customer service were 10/10, too. I had some proteas damaged in transit, and they gave me tips on how to remove leaves to fix the look. Otherwise, the flowers were perfect, super high quality, and looked GORGEOUS. I literally just got rid of the last of them, that’s how hard and long-lasting they were. The price was super reasonable for the quantity/quality received.

      Something Borrowed Blooms

      4.8

      Lafayette, LA
      • Starts at $250
      • Serves Intervale, NH

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

We got married in June in NC and the average temp the week of our wedding was in the mid 90s - so hot! I saw a lot of other brides in local groups worried about how their flowers would look / handle the weather but that thought never crossed my mind. I rented my flowers from SBB and it was amazing. They shipped right to my wedding planners home a few days ahead of the wedding and although the boxes were pretty beat up the flowers were perfect. On the day she set them up and they looked wonderful - my only regret is that I didn't get my bouquet or my grooms flowers from them. I got them from a local florist and they were a huge disappointment. If I ever host another event in the US I will 100% be using SBB for the floral!

      Little Blooms

      5.0

      Nashua, NH
      • Starts at $4,000
      • Serves Intervale, NH

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 15 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

      Awarded Best of Zola
Little blooms did all the florals and greenery for our wedding ceremony and reception and did an absolutely beautiful job. My favorites were the alter flowers- they were amazing and all the guests raved about these and I think these florals set the tone to kick off a beautiful day! Little blooms not only did a beautiful job, but helped us out on late notice during a very busy wedding year (2021!) and we were so thankful for her help! Danielle was very flexible with our different design ideas and changes through the process and ultimately brought our vision together beautifully. We highly recommend Little Blooms and will definitely use their services again in the future for any events!

      Oklahoma City, OK

As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

      Fairy Meadow Flowers

      5.0

      Hamden, CT
      • Starts at $4,500
      • Serves Intervale, NH

My name is Isabelle, and I grow chemical free, regenerative flowers and herbs on 3/4 of an acre in Hamden, CT. I truly love working on these blooms from start to finish, and I hope to get to share some of the beauty with you on your special day.

      Awarded Best of Zola
There are many florists out there, but how many of them offer flowers they've grown themselves, right from the earth? If you want something super traditional, like a sphere of roses, Isabelle may not be for you. But if you like wildflowers, want to work with a super cool person, and collaborate not only with your vendor, but with the earth itself - this is who you want to work with! Everything Isabelle does has meaning and purpose. On my wedding day, they even foraged some goldenrod that was growing right outside our venue, adding it to the bunches of dramatic, colorful dahlias and unique blooms I don't even know the names of. It was meaningful, gorgeous, and creative. All of the arrangements they made came out came out stunning. Each one was a little different, but everything went together perfectly. I could not pick a favorite. Isabelle was also willing to take on so many little details I hadn't thought of. They provided a really lovely floral cake topper, and put little flowers in each of our guest's napkins. They also have opinions, and will share them when asked- something I like in vendors, who I feel often have the best instincts for what works well. In addition, their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially when you consider how special their work is. In a world of refrigerated carnations...be a wild goldenrod, plucked at golden hour, by a true artist :) Cannot recommend Fairy Meadow Flowers enough!

      Awarded Best of Zola
Katie was a breeze to work with! I am not big on real flowers and wanted something that would represent my husband and I. Her prices are comparable to real flowers and are even more lovely! I love that her flower designs mimic real flowers and that foliage was an option. She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day. I would use her services again and again!
