Hi there! My name is Rachel & I’m a Fine Art Light & Colorful Wedding Photographer that lives in South Central Virginia but I travel the entire East Coast! I’m a photographer you can look to for expertise, artistry & capturing effortlessly natural elegance on your wedding day. I pride myself on not only the images I produce for my couples, but for the friendship & trust I build with them throughout their wedding experience with me.

My journey with photography began about twelve years ago when my love of making art and appreciation of history came together. During my formal fine art training with film photography and the darkroom, I learned how to be truly intentional with the images I make. Today, I am constantly inspired and influenced by the world around me: books, movies, fashion editorials, traveling, and even my very own Cajun roots. All of this leads me to have a photographic style that has a balance of fine art, editorial, and intentional documentary vision. My approach can be best described as timeless with an artful touch.

Growing up, my Mom taught me the importance of capturing every moment possible. She always had her disposable camera at the ready for birthday parties, graduations, holiday get-togethers, & more. I remember getting SO excited when the photos were finally developed! To this day, we look back at those photos & still feel the emotions, hear the laughs, & feel the warm embrace of loved ones who are no longer with us. Capturing these memories means everything to me because you're not just receiving a photo... You're capturing memories that will last lifetimes.

I am a fine art photographer living in the United States. I am currently based in Florida and have a studio in Tampa, FL. I was born in Cuba but moved to Orlando with my large family in '97. I started my photography in 2015 but have been involved with being on both sides of the lens and learning photography since 2011. I fell in love with photography at a young age, while rummaging through boxes of family photographs. My favorite pictures were always the ones that felt as though you had been transported in time- a little blurry, but a lot of emotion.

I became very inspired watching my father photograph weddings and capturing the authentic joy on his clients best day.
