Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!

I started my photography journey taking photos of my wife. Watching her come to life with confidence was the greatest feeling in the world. And when she used that confidence to overcome her negative self-image, I knew I was onto something. I initially set out to ensure everyone I worked with knew what this felt like. After shooting with models and brands for a few years, I was asked to photograph my first wedding and the experience was unreal. Watching the sheer joy and happiness of the couple on their big day was so heartwarming and pure. I fell in love with capturing couples and haven't looked back since!

I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my partner, two dogs, and four cats | 🏳️‍🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I turn 9 this year 🥳!

Photography is a craft that I've worked hard to perfect since I was 5 years old taking pictures of horses with my dads DSLR and I love that it is now how I make my living. You'll forget we just met as my wacky sense of humor keeps things light while I keep things on schedule in the background. I'm about to be a mom to a human - but have been a lifelong fur mom to a horse and doggo. When I was a kid all I wanted to be was a photographer (or a vet) and in 2019 o my husband gave me that opportunity. I left my corporate job to pursue my passion. I started a pet sitting business AND a photography business at the same time and I think it's safe to say that right now I am living the dream. I have three beautiful cats and a wonderful husband who supports me in whatever I do.

Before ever shooting professionally I have always found light and people to be very interesting subjects that inspires me to no end. I am often fascinated with exploring the creative possibilities with my subjects and relish in the discovery of undiscovered possibility.
