This spacious facility features 14,000 square feet of event space that can be used for all your wedding weekend activities. Formerly a train depot, the vaulted ceilings and exposed beams combine to make the space feel rustic and elegant. Hardwood floors offer a refined platform for the newlyweds to have a memorable first dance. The dark tones of wood and exposed brick help to create a warm and cozy experience. The Washington Civic Center has plenty of room for over 250 guests. The venue offers a two-day package for weddings which opens up endless opportunities for a personalized celebration. Monroe Bay Vineyard is located on the water near Colonial Beach on the original birthplace Farm of our 5th President James Monroe. We have secluded and tranquil waterfront land to plan your perfect day. We have a large, unique barn made of natural, recycled materials of strawbales for insulation and recycled wine bottles for light and design. You no longer see the strawbales in the wall as they have been covered with a hydraulic lime the same material castles in France for hundreds of years have been made from. The inside is a museum quality white lime finish with unique curves with sun shining through the patterned wine bottle walls to give a unique backdrop.

The Ghent offers both indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate up to 190 guests for any style of celebration. Our rooftop space has been fully renovated to provide comfort during any season, including heaters and fire pits for the colder months, and our indoor spaces are also newly renovated and perfect for celebrating special occasions with family and friends. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, a holiday party, a rehearsal dinner, or a corporate event, we offer a customizable menu and a comfortable atmosphere for you and your guests.
